The Native American Community Academy is seeking a boys middle school head coach and girls middle head coach for the upcoming 2018-2019 NACA basketball season.  The ideal candidate has an eagerness to develop strong basketball knowledge and skill with young athletes as well as instill strong core values.  If you have a strong enthusiasm about teaching basketball and enjoy a competitive atmosphere, please send a resume, letter of interest, and copy of your NMPED Coaching License (if applicable) to NACA Athletic Director, Tylar Rodriguez – rodriguez_t@nacaschool.org

 

Full-Time High School Science Teacher: Native American Community Academy (NACA), an APS charter school, is looking for a high school science teacher who wants to make a difference in an innovative setting and  join a professional, dynamic, and collaborative community. The NACA science team utilizes the Understanding by Design framework in which teachers plan units guided by big ideas and understandings to drive toward deep understanding demonstrated through authentic performance assessments.  Experience or related experiences working in Native American communities or school settings is preferred. Primary job responsibilities include teaching 5 sections of high school Biology and Environmental Science classes and serving as an advisor to 10-12 students. Competitive pay, full benefits.
